Select your favorite Linux distribution from the drop down list, make sure the check box next to Confirm Rebuild is checked and click Update.

Don’t panic if it takes a while, depending on the OS’s size and the system load on the hardware node, the rebuild process may take up to 30 minutes.
To shutdown/reboot/boot your VPS, locate and click the appropriate icon on the front page of your HyperVM panel

To change your VPS’s hostname, locate and click the Network icon on the front page of your HyperVM panel

Enter your desired hostname inside the textbox labeled Hostname and click update
To change the timezone on your VPS, locate and click the Set Timezone icon on the front page of your HyperVM panel

Select the desired timezone from the drop down list and click Update.
Note on the Install Lxadmin icon, this is just a shortcut to rebuild your VPS with the hostinabox OS template. This will destroy all data on your VPS node and install a brand new OS centos 5 with lxadmin installed and updated. Lxadmin can not run on any other linux distribution.
Your disk space, memory and bandwidth usage and monthly limit is shown in the lower left corner of the front page in your HyperVM panel.

Your dedicated VPS IP is displayed in the upper left corner of the front page in your HyperVM panel.

If you have more than one IP, you can display all of your IPs by clicking on the Network icon. The information next to console is you console access to your VPS. The IP displayed belongs to the hardware node your VPS is on. This is useful if you have locked yourself out, or if your firewall is misconfigured. To gain console access on your VPS you just need to ssh with your HyperVM username as displayed (without the .) and your password. You would need a ssh client such as putty
This should get you started using your VPS. If you wish something else to be added in this tutorial please contact us
